But this isn't the same poop team of the 1990s-2000s. They actually compete well in the East (not good enough for the West).

considering it was his first this year, you're more likely to see him score again than clean somebody at the blueline. Both him and Subban are capable of shifting momentum with hits and they have been non existent this year. You could slow some guys down with some integrity at the blueline

I'm sure you remember a few years back, we were 0 and 8 againts BOS in regular season and still beat them in the playoffs. That was good!

Was thinking the same thing, MTL was 8th seed that season and Bos was 1st. There was a season where the opposite happened as well; MTL beat Bos all season, finished 1st in standings and Bos was 8th and lost in first round.
