The only certitude from hockey refs is that they will always call the retaliation.
I would rather PK jumped him on the next shift and get an instigator if he doesn't want to drop. - Fredobface
Oh for sure they saw the Connolly play. They deemed it a traffic jam. But you're right - they always catch the retaliation. |

Yeah, not sure how Connolly got away without a penalty there, but just ridiculous on PK's part. - hscesq

Like the rest of the team, not his best effort. Didn't skate as usual but didn't make brain farts. Was a real rough night for Emelin and Gilbert. |

So bad game from PK, Emelin, Gilbert, Gonchar.
Not the best by Beauleu.
Thank god for Markov? |

Habs only lost by two while their defense had a rough night, to apparently a much better hockey team.
edit: and they scored first! |

One bad period, really.
They won two of the three, on an off night by most accounts.

Gotta love Tyler Johnson, he is 5'9 and gets into the area you need to be if you want to score. Also, what a playmaker! |

And take away that PK bench penalty and it's 3-2, different third period. |

Desharnais has been good as a winger. Seems faster. |

The dude has been more regular than my poops after a coffee since he's been put on the wing. How can he catch a break from the fans? |

Not at all. I was more praising Johnson's game style then anything. Desharnais is a perimeter player. He is been playing a little better since movin to the wing but at this point he is nothing more than a 3rd liner. |

I agree. Seems to have been the right move.
Galchenyuk was non-existent last night. |

He has been looking pass first. And he didn't take the puck to the net. |
