I get what you're saying, but this is the same reporter who flew to Manitoba to ask Reimer's grandma about his condition. The guy is a class A female genitalia. What answer could you possibly get that would satisfy you? It's a lose lose. He says "No I'm not hard to coach." It's nothing, another meaningless bullpoop answer regardless of truth or falsehood. He made the question and phrased it to get a response...and he did. In a big way. He's good at keeping his job at the Toronto Star.

i think ultimately they've got to move him or bring in someone to take the heat off him and put him in a secondary role. i don't think it's healthy to have him as the top dog.

The Leafs are currently in a playoff position. You can't move him for prospects that may never turn out. or do you accept 50 cents on the dollar?

im sure trading Kessel for a decent return can be done. bringing in someone above him? yeah not so easy obviously.

but if you trade Kessel, it's not because you're looking to pick up 100 cents on the dollar or you're looking to up your talent quotient. you're trading him to signal a complete organizational direction shift. yes the Leafs are clinging to a playoff spot but they are what they are... a team that needs elite goaltending just to be dragged into the 90-point range.
