im sure trading Kessel for a decent return can be done. bringing in someone above him? yeah not so easy obviously.

but if you trade Kessel, it's not because you're looking to pick up 100 cents on the dollar or you're looking to up your talent quotient. you're trading him to signal a complete organizational direction shift. yes the Leafs are clinging to a playoff spot but they are what they are... a team that needs elite goaltending just to be dragged into the 90-point range.

thought Reimer's numbers were better. i guess they're worried about burning him out... Bernier is a smallish goalie and to face as much rubber as he does, it's going to lead to injuries. i imagine that they'll play the poop out of him in the final 25 games.
