ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bills have requested to interview Browns OC Kyle Shanahan for their head-coaching vacancy.
It'll be the younger Shanahan's first-known head-coaching interview of the offseason. He was being talked about as one of the coordinators to make the next step after the Browns got off to a 7-4 start. But Cleveland lost its final five games, and the offense averaged under eight points per game the last three. Shanahan is a master game-planner and can adjust his scheme to his players. We like the idea of Shanahan as a head coach better than a lot of the other names out there.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Doug Marrone's head-coaching interview with the Jets over the weekend "did not go well."
Marrone was being talked about as a shoo-in for the Jets' job after he opted out of his contract with the Bills, but it sounds like the head of "St. Doug" may be growing too big for his own good. Per La Canfora, Seahawks DC Dan Quinn is now "well positioned" to land the head-coaching gig with Gang Green. Marrone has also drawn interest from the Bears and Falcons in recent days.

That's the point.
In here, there are few who are calling to trade Myers, few. The bulk of the rest are in the camp of if someone overpays and we get a top 3 forward+ out of the trade, then we would listen for sure.
Hence why, as Max says, spare parts just aren't that interesting...we will have a number of equal players coming up from Juniors, AHL and/or College ranks...we have plenty of those type of players available...what we need is a guy who can fill the net with 40 goals and 90 points consistently...now you have our attention.
If that is too steep, fine ... then don't pay it ... we are good with it (except for a few).
And if Myters ever learns to throw his purse at somebody, then we will need 2 of thos elite forwards returning.

Unfortunately Milbury is not a GM anymore. I cant see someone giving that up for Meyers. Youre talking an elite player for a not elite player. Cant see it happening.

It won't make it, people here won't pay the prices. We lost the Wranglers in the ECHL not because of the fan base but because of the owners of the Orleans and the Wranglers owner. People here only go to see a winner, the Kings pre season games at the MGM are sold out every year.

No one is saying he is worth a King's Ransom . What we are saying is , it is going to take that to get him. He is not on the trade block . He does not have to be traded. So if he is too be traded the deal must blow our GM's socks off. He has stated that.

How do you know? Hysterical how you think you know what Murray is going to do. If he gets traded ill guarantee youre going to be dissappointed due to it not being near what you thought. If its going to take a kings ransom than Meyers will remain a sabre and go ahead with your snide, "thats fine" routine if it makes you feel warm inside. If any GM pays what YOU think youre going to get they'll be looking for a job shortly after.
