You're right it's pure speculation.
I pretty much agree with your top 5, Luongo could be replaced by Bobrovsky or Rask but we are 80% agreeing that's quite a feat. - Habsody

And Myers was to busy making snow angels after the offensive player blew past him.
He's done this far less than the previous 5 seasons though. |

Another guy that's in that 6-20.
Good-Great but not elite.
A case can be made for him at 6 or 12. |

Agreed but it has been a pleasant conversation which for this forum are too few and far between as of late. - dadeadhead
Yeah i did enjoy it as well, especially the fact that it didn't turn into an ego fight, which happens way too often on this site. |

IMO Zadorov needs Ristolainen paired with him to be the one handling the puck.
Since they have split Zads is clueless. He's young, it happens |

I don't see that at all. To me the most impressive thing about him is that he seems to be fearless. That isn't to say that he has played well in his own end in the last few games.
Myers was an absolute beast towards the end of his rookie season. If memory serves me he was playing top-pair minutes that year. |

Amazing what happens when an actual intelligent hockey conversation happens rather then talking down to everyone with a different opinion.

No doubt they played well together. I think what you are seeing is the absence of Myers resulting in these guys seeing top-pair minutes.

He has a short memory, but the bad passes, turnovers have been their since they have split the two.
This team sucks, but let's face it, Myers and Zads are nowhere near comparable from when they were 19 years old. |

I posted this the other day but didn't get any responses. Would either/both clubs make this trade?
To Edmonton:
- Myers
- Blues and Islanders #1's
To Buffalo:
- Hall
- Schultz |

It's essentially Myers and 2 1sts for Hall and that guy in gym class that wouldn't move except just swing the stick back a forth. - dadeadhead
That doesn't change question: would either team make that trade? Something tells me we are going to be high on centers but light on star wingers in the next year or two. |

I'm not sure Murray has an interest with that deal honestly.

It depends on his interest in moving Myers. Young stud wingers don't grow on trees. And don't get me wrong - I am a huge Myers fan. I just thought it would be an interesting proposal. Myers and one of those #1's does not get the deal done. |
