I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
For real though.... Rinaldo on the first line? Why? I just don't understand.... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SOMEONE TELL ME WHY - benjichronic

Well, they may have Rinaldo on the top line. If so, I think a triple Gordie Howe hat trick is the minimum. - jmatchett383
Is Berube not begging to be fired? How anyone possibly think he isn't the issue? |

I think it's a bit premature to compile a list of players based on what could happen in 3 years (and assuming that both Eichel/McDavid become top-2 centers for their respective nations). I'd have to imagine more than 1 player per country comes out of the next 3 drafts. - jmatchett383
Of course it's premature, that's the fun! I looked at young players in such plus took into account history and the like (plus it's only 3 years away) and I don't see any players that haven't been drafted yet making the teams aside from Eichel and McDavid. Hanifin, Matthews maybe for team USA but there are younger players just starting in the NHL that will probably pre-empt them. |

Might not be any NHL players - PhillySportsGuy
Yup that's why I put the disclaimer. I like seeing NHLers but it would be in the league's best interest not to have them play. |

Tanking. The playoffs are a pipedream, so they are going all in for a top pick. |

Holmgren is more of the issue. He sculpted this roster into a pile of poop. Berube does appear to be clueless, and isn't the answer going forward that is for sure. |

Berube would have to drool while he talked for him to think Rino on the top line with Jake was a good idea as opposed to waving the white flag and hitting the self destruct button on the 2014/15 season.
I think... |

I suppose he could've said, "I hope this experiment doesnt continue for too long, otherwise I've got no shot at the scoring title". That would've been a better response, right? Right?

It's a shame the great Gary Coleman passed away. Dustin Diamond will have to pick up the slack. - PLindbergh31
Dustin Diamond is a sad, sad story. However, he is the only actor to appear in every incarnation of Saved By the Bell (Good Morning Ms. Bliss, SBTB, SBTB The New Class, SBTB Vegas Wedding, SBTB The College Years). |

A gold plated poop sculpture, with dollar bills sticking out of it all over. They're not small bills either.

For some pathetic reason, I think I knew this already. That's a hell of a resume.
I have a feeling in the coming months he's really going to turn "Screech" into a tragic irony. |

At $9 (I think, could be more) per slice, you sure can pass it up. Go down to the shop on South St. and get it for 1/3 of the price. - jmatchett383
yeah, but where are you going to sit in that closet out of which they operate? Don't underestimate the value of a good seat |

Live sports are fun to me even when my favorite team stinks. I still love going to Phillies' games and look at them. Same goes for this year's Flyers. It's a lot more enjoyable when the team is a contender (2007-2011 Phillies was the most fun time to be a fan) but being at the stadium never stops being enjoyable to me. |
