Any list with Crouse that high is suspect. Above Hanafin, Strome and Marner? No way. - Feanor
Some lists are how they feel the player projects as a pro not on current junior/college/Euro stats |

They should, but that isn't going to help skates flying up around players faces. Brayden Schenn came dangerously close to a real serious injury last night. Scary as hell. - MJL

I think it was pretty coy of Shanny to keep Nonis and Carlyle around while he sorts out the mess, which could take awhile... two automatic fall guys to dump on the slab.
- Tomahawk
Watching that interview from Nonis yesterday...... wow that dude is clueless. |

The strategy brings out another frustration in me. We had many natural Left Wing players we just decided to let walk or give away and now we're weak at that position all throughout the line. Off course many will blame Holmgren and I suppose we can start there but Hextall's first move was to trade away a top line Left Winger. Just this idea of drafting centers and seeing what sticks on wing really pisses me off. - SuperSchennBros
Umberger/hartnell trade was a win for us IMO. I think there's differing opinions on that |

Its amazing what players can do with a great coach. - GOA88
Actually, I would give more credit to the players. They have to execute. Not taking anything away from Babcock but the Red Wings are lucky to have a group with great hands and puck control. |

Do you think he'd have a shot at developing into the top line LW they need? |

He is just a puppet ( a large one) ... Shanahan was under recent criticism for " not being around", then the bomb is dropped.
I wouldn't be suprisd if Nonis is gone after season |

Well....he gutted it out and was still a very noticeable player on the ice.
But it was obvious he was struggling a little bit.
I'm ok with him playing as long as he's contributing. - johndewar
Sliding into the boards because he's gun-shy/doesn't quite have the control he's used to could cause a bit of a problem... |

Thats part of it. Babcock has a nice system and his players buy into it. Berube's team just dumps and chases and shoots from the point. Simple, boring hockey. Im sure the players would rather play a different style. Thats why Berube has clearly been tuned out. |

I personally don't beleive that the players have tuned Berube out. |

A bit off topic: Anyone see the video of Phil Kessel getting snippy with a reporter?:

he is such a hate the face guy. funny that the reporter looks like he is in much better shape than the pro athlete |

I don't think we have the personnel to carry the puck like the Red Wings do. |

The best part of Rinaldo's 2-year extension is that it can be completely buried in the AHL if need be. |

Is it possible, at all, that the national media may recognize that the Flyers' biggest problem is their defense, and that the goaltending issue has (more or less) been solved? - jmatchett383
