Havent you learned lately by the lat two drafts? The flyers select somebody way before they are projected and sometimes a player who wasnt even on the radar..Sanheim. Then we freak out and go off the deep end complaining about the pick and have no idea about the kid and call it a blown pick. Then we see the kid in action and go...oh wow!!!!Its pronger all over again!! Then we antisipate his first game and after watching his first game we want him thrown away for a puck and the coach scratches him for 10 games because the zombie we have is more an all around type player . - jmdodgeser4
You're being unfairly critical of the coach here. Obviously if he scratches a player for ten games there a reason, because a coach employed by a NHL team is unable to be wrong and only a jerk would dare criticize him.

Well don't you get it. The Zombies play their own. That is the only conclusion |

With frequent (unfair) comparisons to Kane and Giroux, the size doesn't scare me. I don't think I'd take him at 3 over Hanifin, but he's up there. - Tomahawk
The little I have seen of Werenski I really like, but I could see him being in that group right after Hanifin, with Strome, Kylington & Marner.
Also, Marner's added inches and lbs over the past year, so he might get even bigger, which makes the size concerns sort of moot. |

Been asking for it for over a year. Unrequited interest leads to snark. |

It is such a weird feeling, it's game day and I don't care if we get a W or a L.
I hope we don't go through this next year. IMO Ed won't allow it. |

That seems like the sort of niche that looks cool at first blush, but if you didn't get a job in hockey as a result (the probable outcome), you will have wasted 1000s of dollars. |

I'll let that pass, as we at least picked a guy with loads of potential. But trading a first rounder for a marginal defenseman due to 1 fairly decent playoff game is mind boggling. Like 3 years $1.1M Jody Shelley mind boggling. |

Not surprised to see Crouse climbing. Big, skilled kid, just wish he'd turn those traits into more production. - Jsaquella
Is there really a legitimate chance Crouse can jump Hanifin? |
