Its not like he has a bad attitude or anything. If he can get back to scoring 20+ goals we can at least get something decent for him. If not, his salary helps us stay above the floor at least.

Not to mention he may return to form when the next head coach implements something other than "work hard" as a system. I think Hodgson's game needs more offensive structure to work.

It really is ridiculous and hypocritical. We do what any team does when they have aging assets that they don't want to sign: we traded them for parts. Happens every season and in every sport. There was nothing embarassing about the lineup that we sent out on opening night. Hell, I thought TM went a little too far with some of the signings.
