Eichel is equally as skilled as McDavid. Hes dominating the college game against more mature, more built in their frame 20 year olds. What makes you think he wouldnt do that against 17 and 18 year olds in the CHL?

He also has the superior vision and is being under rated as a goal scorer.

I'd be a little surprised if they canned him after this year. i'd be okay with it but I don't think they need to make that choice this off-season.

Thats weird because I think Eichel is much better on his skates. Balance, strength, use of his edges. Sure, McDavid might have the speed and explosiveness, but I think Eichel is a better technical skater. His wrap around goal was a prime example of that. I couldnt help but chuckle when McDavid had speed wobbles on that GMG breakaway goal.

Superior vision? Not sure about that. To say he has superior vision means there is a grand canyon type gap between the two. Eichel is just as good of a playmaker as McDavid.

I think the only thing McDavid really has on Eichel, which could make a difference at the next level is the explosiveness and speed and ability to make quick decisions at a high speed. Eichel doesnt really kick it into high gear. He can at times to blow around a guy to the outside, but Eichel is more of a Patty Kane type of player. He slows things down to his pace, doesnt need to use speed to beat you.

Sorry man but I don't know what you were watching or have been watching then.

McDavid is as good as anyone on his skates. One stride and he's gone. He also can power through guys. Also one of his best moves is exploding around a defender at the faceoff circle and getting an angle when it looks like there is none
