I know we like to give each other a hard time but RNH has done nothing to suggest that he'll be as good as H Sedin. Nothing. That's just oiler fanboy talk. Oil fans think player potential = guaranteed success.
That's why the majority of oil fans are so shocked and disappointed within a month of the season's start. Can't believe their team isn't contending now. Start achieving before claiming them as stars. - bloatedmosquito
In his 21 year old season Henrik went 82GP 16-20-36
RNH has 25 points and its only the 41 game mark of the season. He's the 1C of a team and holding his head above water against a stacked Western Conference.
Youre right, he hasn't shown he'll be as good as Sedin. He's shown he'll be better. |

No. The original dicussion was toronto trading for RNH because he's a #1 centre. leafs need a #1 now. I disagree RNH is a #1 centre now.
Some idiot responded about Sedin being a soft POS. I responded.

And i could see this train of thought if you had just never watched him play, ever, or compared his stats to Sedin at the same age |

Sedin is a soft POS. And Nuge has better numbers than him without having a telekinectic brother.. |

Comparing what they did as 21 year olds is one thing, over a 15 year career is another. How long will RNH play and how durable will he be? Injuries also play into it. I'm ok with the math, you just can't compare the two at this point in time. |

The only injury he's had so far came from a freak incident where he tripped up and went into the boards.
I like you though, you should come around more often. The usualy Van fans who come around here just make the rest look bad. |

I wouldn't say he is a soft POS. I will admit he has been very resilient in having minimal injuries. BUT, (frank)ing Phil the Thrill Kessel is a tougher player than either of the Sedins. |
