I didn't say we was a dwarf. I said he has teenie tiny shoulders. Long and thin. Super skilled. I just think injuries are going to take their toll.

A lot of this stems from what the definition of soft is. You are arguing being soft means you get hurt a lot since you use the argument that henrik has played so many games without missing many due to injury.
Most everyone else is arguing that being soft means you get pushed around and hit a lot which over a long period of time can hamper effectiveness, especially in the playoffs.
Edit: By your definition a guy like Peter Forsberg, who had his fair share of injuries was soft.... I don't think anyone who watched him play would call him soft (minus the diving stuff he did for a while).
You can't argue Nuge isn't a #1C, because by definition he is one by being on the first line of the Oilers. You can debate whether or not he is a top 10, 20 or 30 amongst his peer group, but it remains to be seen where he ends up when he is in his prime. We can't predict the future, but the early returns show there is a potential to be a top 10 C in this league. |

and you say that ignoring he has increased in weight and muscle. which has been pointed out to you many times. - ChetManly
Oh Chet, the original question asked by leaf fan was 'we need a #1 centre now" and then went on to ask what it would take to get RNH.
I responded by asking why the (frank) wold you want RNH now, he's not a #1C.
And then you guys went nuts by bringing up henrik, canucks loss in game 7, and general insults to everyone not a oil fan. Talk about volatile.
If you can show me where I started any comparison I will apologize and leave. otherwise let's all get back to the question of RNH being a true #1 centre at this stage of his career.
He's just not and I'm a RNH fan. Local boy. Love to see him on his favorite team. |

And you can't win the only trophy that matters being a softy. The soft pieces of crap Sedins were nowhere to be found when they were needed in the finals. - Oilfan19
OK, your opinion. But you don't win a Hart and Art Ross together if you are a soft POS. It's just a fact. |

What is your scientific basis for this occurring? Like can you back this up with some explanation using anatomical and physiological facts, based on shoulder size and injury? |

Bolded - that's your opinion. Is he more of a #2 on better teams, yes.
Game 7 - that was only JB, #shutupJB
As for the comparisons, it's already been pointed out.
RNH is 21, he still has 3-5 years until he is in his prime years.

Is fe a #1C as compared to other established #1C in the league such as Crosby, Getzlaf, Kopitar, Toews, etc, is the starting point. RNH, given his skills and abilities, is definitely in the 20-11 range. But the interesting part would be the #2C that could be #1C, such as Malkin for example.
RNH is 21, he isn't even in his "prime years" yet. Like you said, evidence shows he is capable of being a top 10 1C. |

If the leafs need a #1 centre, then why the (frank) would Nonis be calling about RNH? Those itty bitty tiny shoulders won't be able to hold up crashing and banging with the best d-men in the league.
He's super skilled but not a true #1 on a contending team.
I know, the thought of RNH as a #1 centre makes me laugh too.
I know we like to give each other a hard time but RNH has done nothing to suggest that he'll be as good as H Sedin. Nothing. That's just oiler fanboy talk. Oil fans think player potential = guaranteed success.
That's why the majority of oil fans are so shocked and disappointed within a month of the season's start. Can't believe their team isn't contending now. Start achieving before claiming them as stars. |
