Nope, we should be fighting for a playoff spot, we're bottom feeders because of him.

we were progressing under other coaches along an acceptable level considering how young our core was and how bad our depth was, progressing on all counts, until he got here. Now every single player has regressed at every single level with a far better team on paper and an older and stronger core.

He ruined Yakupov as well, hopefully Nelson can save him.

Hence why there is a first and a mid-high prospect?

If we flip Petry for another 1st, then we can package the that one plus Pitts 1st along with a lesser piece for a Dman and that allows us to try to save Yak.

He is going to get you great return possibly a 1-2 d-man which we really need. I just think he looks disinterested in where he is playing. Which could be a problem in the dressing room.

Nope he was our 5th rd pick last year, but he's had breakout year which has earned him his entry level contract. He'll get a chance to make the team next season though.

You're trying way to hard to refute the grades, they mean (frank) all. no team will win with only 2 players getting an A grade

The issue is using Yak as trade bait, you may have to "Over pay" for that D-man because of his value right now.

Yakupov certainly lost a lot of value but he still hasn't lost his "potential" tag. I mean, a GM will not trade for him only for his point production. He still has that first overall pick and fantastic goal scorer tag on him.

However, if you continue to use him as a third line guy and he don't improve his point production, he will lose it.

Eberle took a B- which I rate as below average. He's still a good player, he just hasn't produced enough per his standards.

Nuge I rated as above average based largely on his Even Strength scoring prowess and the fact that he is the best overall player on this team. His inability to add on the PP prevents him from being Exemplary so far this year.

Leon Draisaitl playing in Kelowna is awesome, I watch that team quite a bit live. The Rockets are a first class organization and will certainly be a benefit for him.
