Nope, we should be fighting for a playoff spot, we're bottom feeders because of him.

we were progressing under other coaches along an acceptable level considering how young our core was and how bad our depth was, progressing on all counts, until he got here. Now every single player has regressed at every single level with a far better team on paper and an older and stronger core.

He ruined Yakupov as well, hopefully Nelson can save him.

I totally agree. Mact's biggest mistake was replacing Krueger and I think he knows it. Much better team now with much worse results. If Nelson is Head Coach next year the team will be a competitor for a playoff spot.

Eakins sucks, but so do our players. Can't always blame it on the coach when a team isn't successful.

Yes our players aren't the best, and we're not playoff team, but we're not a bottom feeding team. i've never blamed anything on the coaches before. We were stupid to fire Renney and Kruger, we we're progressing with a younger smaller core and worse supporting players, then Eakins got here with and older stronger core and better supporting players and every single player regressed, some completely fell of the map who looked extremely promising.

Is this a good team who should make the playoffs and compete? (frank) no.

is this a bottom feeder team who deserves to be on pace for the worst season in franchise history? (frank) no.

Still need depth on D and scoring. This team will not make it through RND1 in the playoffs. If they should qualify. The west is still a long way off from competing with the California teams. EDM, CAL & VAN Need to get bigger, all 3 teams are about an average 13lbs lighter than ANA or LA (1rst & 2nd overall in average weight). Any team going through a 7 game series with those guys will get punished, simple as that.
