Man, they really look like they're missing AMac and Grossmann out there... - Tomahawk
Braydon Coburn is the most talented, but Mark Streit is the only defenseman who would be missed in this lineup.
To me, this has been definitively proven, from.the lockout season when Coburn and Grossmann were injured and they were winning games, to now, when they can scratch a $5 million defenseman at any moment and not look any different |

They had no MacDonald & no Grossmann for most of game and played one of their best games of the season. |

I suspect he'll end up being one of those guys who just does his thing for 14-15 years, fans bemoaning his inability to fall into an expected niche, and people will look back at the end and go, "wtf, he scored 800 career pts???". - Tomahawk
This is why I don't go on a full "Get Brayden Schenn out of here" campaign. I can see the skill, but he clearly needs to play with like players. He can't lift guys. That's no sin; lots of guys can't. But with his pedigree, you'd hope he could.
I swear if he was traded for anyone other than Mike Richards, then maybe expectations would be different. |

That's the big one. Much less time chasing the puck around w/o him in there. |

It's safe to say Schultz has been MUCH better than both of them this year

That didn't help.
Also, in Flyerlandia, our 1st round picks have routinely played in the NHL and contributed right away. Examples: Gagne, Williams, etc, etc |

Yep. Not a rip job to tell the truth; they are NHL players who are limited and interchangeable
Getting upgrades won't be easy, but it will have to happen to help this franchise move forward |

Nope. I get the Grossmann love. He's an easy guy to root for. He works his ass off. He plays through pain. He's a warrior. He's also lost a step or two, and was never more than average with the puck. |

Yep, patience with top picks has not always been a quality that the Flyers or fans have had |
