Im from your parts there buddy, fortunately ive liked hockey longer than the devils have existed so they were never an option. It was always new york or philly and in my part of jersey, if you root for philly you die alone - rferrone
That still doesn't explain a fan of the team from the dirtiest city in North America calling Philadelphia "Philthy." |

Find me a clever moniker for new york city and ill accept it. Philthy and philly are synonomous. I took classes at temple. Just garbage |

Just glance over their draft history:

They're going to (frank) it up, lol. - Tomahawk
I don't know. Ristolainen is a stud. Girgensons looks to be a good 3rd line center. Grigorenko looks like a bust. Zadorov and McCabe look like they are good complimentary defensemen. It really come down to what they do this year. If Reinhart is their #1 center, they are screwed. If they get one of McEichel though, that's a pretty formidable center depth : McEichel-Reinhart-Girgensons. Add in Ristolainen as a #1 and they could be a tough out in the future. |

If you're going to take the worst part of the city and use it as a measuring stick for the entire city, then my new name for New York is "Full of transsexuals." |

when you take a time machine to the past, the present becomes the future. When you come back to the present, via said time machine, you are travelling into the future. But be careful because it gives you parkinsons and your head does this even when you mean yes

You obviously don't understand the physics behind a time machine. |

The amount of money on deadweight on this roster is staggering. And just about all of it is immovable. Nobody will be taking MacDonald at 5 million a year to play 3rd paring minutes for the entirety of his contract. So that's 5 million pissed away. Add Vinny 4.5, Umberger 4.6, Pronger 4.9, L.Schenn 3.6. This team better draft real well to even be competitive with all that dead space. - psuhockey
The worrisome thing to me, is seeing Bryan Allen clear waivers. I had some hopr that Grossmann would be worth a pick at the draft or maybe the deadline...can't see that now. Same might apply to Luke Schenn.

Perfect response. I have no interest but for fun...
I can't for the life of me come up with a trade proposal that makes any sense to both sides while also shows my disdain for Kessel.
Maybe
Vinny (4.5) Umberger (4.6) and our 1st
or Umberger, L. Schenn and a 2nd in 2016
*Goes and pokes his own eye with a spork for making stupid proposals

Does anyone else find it troubling that we have to move out MacDonald because he can't handle some of the bigger teams? - J35Bacher
I don't find it troublesome, but his lack of a physical edge is a negative to his game. |

They'll probably both be back next season. The 2016 offseason is when Hextall will get a chance to really shape the team. |
