Theyve played MUCH worse than that in the last 18 months. Coming off a 6 game losing streak playing a rested TB team (top of the conference) on a back to back, did you expect any different?

You know what the purpose of this season is, and have since last year. I dont know what you expected.

Why assume it just ends at this though? It's not like the plan is to draft Eichel and then just hope it works out. It doesn't end at eichel/McDavid but that's where it will start. After that the pieces will fall into place (trades, signings, picks), much easier than doing it the other way around.
