I don't remember exactly, but there was some sort or turmoil between the 2. When he got here all I heard about was how bad of a defensive player he was. That much was/is true... I just didn't envision 6 pts in 40 or so games.

That's numbers that guys like McMuscle puts up for 1/4 of Hodgson's salary.

Face it, the Canes and the Oilers have more talent on their teams. The Sabres have a small group of good 2nd line guys, that's it. All others are 3rd line/4th line grinders. How could we not keep falling to 30th place.

Pretty much.

With both Staals AND a healthy Semin in the lineup it becomes quite a bit harder to lose games at the pace I would like.

I'm talking about this year. In the past, there was reason to question this but what so-called stud would any other team in this league want who's on our team? Possibly Risto or Girgs based off of potential, which is risky.
