I had to check Upshall's contract status. He's a UFA this summer. I didn't want to take any term.

I'd try to flip Upshall for a 3rd rounder. Flyers need to to shed contracts that extend past next summer

They didn't play poorly, they had some breakdowns and unfortunately didn't get very good goaltending from Emery after Mason went down.

They did get some chances and just failed to convert. I think they played a solid enough game, overall.

Agreed though i didn't really think that any of the goals were horrible plays by Emery.
All the same..you can't win games if you score 1 goal because this team is not good enough to shut their opponent out every night.

Yah..I thought his positioning was off a bit on the short handed goal. As he moved across he stayed too much to the middle...was a good shot and all but still.
