I saw that earlier. 33 year old young gun - Jsaquella
At 30, I'm just waiting for the scouts to notice me in my C games -- I've got a three-year window. |

We could probably trade Schultz for a half decent prospect, huh? |

Get down to the Wells Fargo Center and throw bottles at Emery. You could be the Flyer goalie in the third |

Nothing against Schultz but just think .. He was our 7th Dman at start of year and as it sits today he has been our best. Guess that kind of explains where we are at in the standings. |

Teams don't seem interested in letting go of any prospect somewhat half decent.
Possibly a reclamation project or a late round pick.
For the money, Flyers might as well keep him to buy time for the real young guns. - Moose_15
Really? I think he could get a late 2nd how he's been playing.
Kubina on one leg. Never forget. |

What happens if both goalies are injured? Does the team just play with six F/D? Or is a forfeit possible? I can't believe I have to ask that. I feel shame. |

Actually the rule states that if both goalies are incapacitated an "eligible" goalie can replace them. So they can either go with 6 skaters or dress a skater as the goalie, or if a guy under contract is around he can be activated. |

When cap would go up and up each year -- I think teams were more flexible.
With cap going down last year -- I think teams are more inclined to keep their picks and prospects (even the falling-out-of-favor prospects). |

Now wondering if teams keep a third string guy in the building? Or do they not worry about it? |
