Subban is their best goaltending prospect and they drafted him with the intention of taking over for Rask, imo, just as Rask should start to decline.
Stewart doesn't even begin to start that convo, imo.
I know you said "add to" Stewart, but I think whatever you would have to "add" to Stewart turns into the main part of the deal coming back from Buffalo. - grand-magus
Rask has 7 more years keft on a 7m per season salary. Not sure Subban is the backup plan. |

Rex/Roman/Schwartz.
Discuss. - grand-magus
I don't mind it. It's what we've got, so let's see where it takes us. Roman is pretty innovative, so that's fun. Rex was the best HC candidate available, and Schwartz is a damn fine DC. It's all good on the coaching front. Now onto QB.. let's try not to get all worked up over Cutler. He's an upgrade to Manuel but he is still not very good. And a head case to boot. |

More of a conclusion to the blog than intended as dishonorable mention, I'd say. |

I think the leg clot itself is the "dishonorable" part. I don't think the writer would be knocking McCormick yet have the link titled "Get Well" |

A source tells the Buffalo News that the Bills have "every intention" of keeping defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.
New hire Rex Ryan is as defensive-minded as head coaches come, so Schwartz would be losing a bit of power even if he keeps his coordinator title. It's unclear if Schwartz wants to stay, or if he wants to pursue a DC vacancy such as the Giants. |

Sources tell FOX that Chan Gailey is on the Browns' radar as an offensive coordinator candidate.
Gailey was last seen in Buffalo, where he went 16-32 across three seasons as head coach before getting canned. However, he was able to squeeze electric work out of C.J. Spiller, something no Bills coaches or offensive coordinators have been able to do since. Gailey, now 63 years old, also has a tie to Browns GM Ray Farmer as they worked together in Kansas City in 2008. Other Browns OC candidates include Marc Trestman, Al Saunders and John DeFillipo. |

Many have pointed out that pretty much everyone runs a hybrid these days and that Pettine's D was pretty similar to what Ryan would run. I think it will work out either way. |

whoa
if they got revis, and alonzo comes back healthy then the bills have a 85 bears d or a ravens d in their prime
that would be exciting - homiedclown
I hope they re-sign Spikes. While I like Alonso, people forget how bad this team was against the run last year, and he was actually pretty weak against it. Also, a LB corps of Bradham, Alonso, and Preston Brown is incredibly inexperienced. |
