A. Gronk is the best TE in football. I never said he wasn't. But Graham is absolutely close
B. Calling NE a system team is giving credit to their coaching staff who work for the New England Patriots. So yes I can give credit to a team I hate.
C. Where was Wleker the past 2 years? 4th on his own team in receiving last season, and replaced quite easily by Emmanuel Sanders this season. Just like Julian Edelman magically replaced the great Wes Welker without a hiccup
D. Tom Brady is a top 3 QB of all time. But has not won a SB without a top 10 defense....ever. So the notion that he does everything by himself is quite hilarious - sbroads24
A. Gronk is the best TE. And Graham is only close by stats. Not close by being a complete TE in all facets of the game or as physically dominant as Gronk. Never see Graham dragging multiple DB's or S's an extra 5-10 yards after catches. Never see him opening up things on the edge.
B. The players are just as good as the coaches.
C. He's gotten older. Hes past his prime. 30+ year old slot WR? Yeah hes seen a lot of miles. Sanders is 6 years younger. Same with Edelmen.
D. I dont really understand this argument coming from a person who praises the coaching staff and says they make the most out of any player. He carried a very bad defense in 2011 to the SB and shouldve won if not for... well, poor defensive play. Brady doesnt play on both sides of the ball. |

He's a great gimmick player. Short crossing routes where he beats a LB or slot corner. Edelman lines up outside sometimes and will make plays against top CB's. I'd take Edelman over Wes any day - sbroads24
ahhh but is that more of age catching up on wes? He has to be over 30 by now without looking it up.
Id say at the same stage of career edelman is farther along.
But id say they had the forsight to know they would get rid of wes and found a replacement later in the draft. Id say they are great at finding those. Seems we draft players in general but not with position forsight |

And Manning carried poor defenses his whole career. Only when the Colts had a strong run game and defense did they actually win the SB. Same with Tommy Terrific.

The Oilers blogger posted, " What to do with Derek Roy " that right there shows you how bad this organization is in Edmonton. All that talent, number 1 picks and they are worried about Derek Roy.
I understand it's a blogger posting this |

If he is the spark they needed. So be it . Let him play out the season and ruin their chances at #1. They will know what to do then. Most likely not. |

I hope he is something more than just a body for that team and plays well consistently. Who knows if he can do that though. |

I don't think they have changed their lineup in awhile. They still have Pearson and Trouba in. We only have 2 players that are the same that I noticed. |

pommer?
roy?
vanek?
ruff?
my guess is one of the suck sisters ends up there - homiedclown
I hope none, and nothing against the French Connection, but only 11 along with 18, and 39 should be hanging up there. For a franchise for a 40 year history, and zero cups, we have too many up there. |
