Fred Jackson in his prime is at Gore's level.

I don't think you need a great RB to do well, sure it helps but teams like NE, DEN, BAL seem to plug anyone and that fits the system and they do well

My guess is it will be a 2 back rotation


At least we won't have to worry about choice getting the carry with spiller and jackson on the sideline anymore

I would. Jackson was the better receiving back.

If Jackson were on a functional team, he'd be considered one of the better backs of the last decade like Gore has

Gore has almost 14000 yards all purpose

2 more years in the NFL and he will end up with Thurman Thomas numbers when he retires.

I'd go that far. No matter how bad our line is Jackson was always able to run effectively where others couldn't. Never brought down by the first guy and a beast on third down. The two are similar.

Not football related but I just found out that there is no actual rule in the nhl rulebook that says drawing blood on a penalty is a double minor. How it's become universally accepted as such I have no clue.

Sick of people freaking out about Schwartz .. Buffalo had a great defence before him yes not great stopping the run but Schwartz also benefited with Buffalo adding Spikes and the help of rookie Preston Brown who is also very good vs the run ..The run defence under Rex should be just as good if not better. My only worry is Buffalo playing man to man on the outside..
