Would like someone to explain to me how either is better than Kadri or Bozak at this point.

No major changes will be made to this core.

after drafting 12th this summer, they will have the same kind of year next year.

It kind of is, isnt it - save for some big trade when a GM gets blindsided, theres no way the Leafs are improving on much without giving up other pieces they need.

Pieces they can (afford) to move(that have some value):

Gardiner
Lupul...to an extent
Bozak (if another center comes back of course)
Reimer (won't likely fetch a whole lot)
Nylander (if we're talking bigger moves)

- Colin_Dambrauskas

I think this team will flounder around the middle of the pack down the second half. Due to that, I think you sell Franson/Bozak (based on value seemingly being at pinnacle), Lupul (if at all possible) and Reimer (if someone is desperate enough to buy high).

That's my opinion based on where I think this team will probably fall.

Yep. Horacek needs time to evaluate. Then, they'll fire Nonis. New GM needs time to evaluate. When Horacek is gone, new coach will also need time to evaluate. After Leiweke goes, new MLSE prez will need time to evaluate. Shanny will evaluate all the evaluations. By then, Pha9, Kessel, and Chokeson's contracts will be up and we can sign a new group of stiffs to immovable, millstone albatross contracts. Cue the next round of evaluations.

Listening to interviews from Horacek and Dubas is so different from RC and Poulin/Loiselle

The leafs are so much better off now, thats pretty obvious

MONTREAL - The RCMP is investigating an alleged computer scam at VIA Rail.

QMI Agency reported in 2013 that the Crown corporation fired a top manager in its computer department amid embezzlement allegations.

The rail carrier's ombudsman helped conduct an internal investigation and Via subsequently transferred the file to the Mounties.

The RCMP confirmed its probe but refused to provide further details.

A source familiar with the investigation had told QMI Agency about a scheme in which one or more IT companies allegedly overbilled for services.

The suspected fraud totalled hundreds of thousands of dollars.

QMI also reported Via Rail had hired the manager even though she had a prior conviction for theft.

She was sentenced in 2010 for stealing 20 computers and monitors as a senior manager at Bombardier Aerospace in the early 2000s.

Leaf asst g.m Kyle Dubas says "no chance" that Nylander will play for the Leafs this season. His development will take priority. #TMLtalk
