Can you trade a prospect that is playing OS? Isn't there rules in place that he has to finish his season before able to play for the Leafs or Marlies?

I doubt we would be trading Nylander, but I think you can trade them. I don't know too much about the recall rules but from the quote in Mike's blog it seems that him having a contract with the Leafs gives them priority...

That is incorrect. It doesn't matter if he was drafted by the ohl team, what matter is where he was drafted from. Check your facts.
