There's a long and sordid history of Feschuk being the douchiest writer in Toronto, especially when it comes to the Leafs. That's what people weren't getting - Phil didn't just get pissed off because of one stupid question... and when he blew up at Feschuk he wasn't talking about himself, but Feschuk disrespecting his teammates and the team in general.

Why anyone would read Cox/Simmons/Feschuck is beyond me. But why would players take the time to know what those tools have to say?
- magmoo

I saw an interesting little segment on one of the hockey shows the other day - I think it was Friedman - was saying that Shanny (correct me if I'm wrong on this, folks) was implementing a system for the young players that if they were going to read the press, they should do it at the rink, so that they have someone to vent to about the overall douchiness.

They didn't want the players to be alone and stew and pout about it.

As I said above, feel free to correct me if I didn't quite get this right.

And that is why I think the media are a bunch of tools. They somehow think they can print whatever they want and the players aren't allowed to dislike them.

Idiots.

Because when someone says poop about you in a public forum people you know are going to tell you about it.

I heard it was going on with the leafs for a while with this guy but I don't read him and didn't want to look anything up and give the POS hits.

The best is when the old man buys a 30 second commercial and tells us about his time on the beach in St Martinique for 27 seconds, then realizes he has 3 seconds left and goes "Kory's, 369 Danforth, in the heart of Greektown" really fast. Love him.

You are quite correct. I don't remember if it was Friedman or not (though likely), but I definitely remember hearing the same thing.

Nobody is asking the important questions
the MODO coach was fired, was that Willie Nylanders fault? and is he uncoachable?

we know these questions will come up in Toronto..so we better get them answered right away

Busy busy. I only have 1 child so most days I think I don't have enough (No adopting any of yours is out of the question.)

I heard about the Dallas game! haha sounds hilarious.

Yeah I don't get it... I'm here strictly for my own entertainment and to hopefully not get banned...

I don't bother with other threads though... I'm sure if I left the Leafs zone I'd lose posting privileges a lot more than I already do...
