I know that my Directv account can be negotiated down. I've never paid full price from them and always get discounts and free programming. They want to keep your business, because of downloading. In Canada? You can't get a decent deal from them and they won't negotiate. Canadian satellite is so substandard. They are at least 5 years behind in HD programming. Center Ice in the U.S., negotiated to $99.00 USD. In Canada, it's $217.00 CND. Still waiting for the NHL Network in HD in Canada. It is in the U.S., eventhough the programming comes from Canada.
