For sure.. But shouldn't the number 1 priority be to bring in players commited to that system? Wtf is the point of keeping Kessel around??

I'd rather a guy who may put up less points, but is harder to score against. I like star players who play the PK.. It helps a lot.

I'd agree. But I assume trades are trickier to make in real life than on here. I don't think you just call another GM and say this for this. And bam, 3 minutes later you've made a trade.

Reilly was terrible tonight.

The defence was pretty good too though.
- Yeti1181

Outside of Gonchar name me the defense of that Pens squad.

Hal (frank)ing Gill and Rob can't skate Scuderi. Brooks pooppik. They won through scoring and Fleury remembering how to goalie in games 6 and 7.

Obviously not.. They have to deal him at the deadline when teams are looking for that offensive juggernaut to put them over the top.

Trade Phil to the Ranger for Kreider, Haglin and a second.

Giving them childish nicknames doesnt make your point valid

Absolutely. But we're a fickle bunch if we are pissed that the players are FINALLY trying to play the game the right way. About 4 years too late, but still, the Leafs played very well tonight.

He had a few pretty rough brainfarts. The boys played a real good team game tonight and really deserved a point. Great progress so far under the new regime

Zero goals bud...

Leafs have a habit of playing to their opponents level.. If they lost to Edmonton 1-0 but played the same way you'd say they played like poop.

But if they played like total poop against Edmonton, it'd probably would be 1-0. If they played like poop against LA it would be 6-1 LA.

Didn't the oilers just beat LA?

Leafs never force their game on anyone.. I'm not even sure they have a game plan..

McDavid is their only hope..

I would do whatever it takes to get him at this point.

Agreed. But would rather he take his time now than miss time down the stretch. They've still been respectable since then..just have gone thru a rough part of their sched. The East is still very much wide open.
