I would do Coburn and couts for Eberle, Yakipov and Petry with two small changes. Oilers add there top pick and also take back Umberger. Then you can deal Yakipov and Petry for more picks. - jstross

Firing Laviolette was the right move. He got fired not because he was a bad coach, but because he was the wrong coach for the team. They couldn't play his style of play, and be successful at it. Laviolette wouldn't change, and I don't blame him to an extent. He's been a sucessful coach playing his systems and style. - MJL
I agree that it was the right move. I just don't agree with how they went about it. |
