D guys are not there for the offense its the goals they don't prevent.

Myers is average .. Weber..seems to be getting better. From what they say he is the actual leader of the D core. Hard to think it but he is the most vocal and gets the guys going. Just typing what I heard.

If they are there to prevent goals, Weber is far below average. Hes on tfor the most goals against per 60 minutes played of all Sabre defensemen.

I don't focus too much on guys that won't be here in a year or so, but every time I look at the advanced numbers it's clear Weber is a bad hockey player.

It is a shame, but to a point.

I can live with a little douchiness, but when you're a total DB, it's tough for me to get past. I don't care how great you are.

Hasek was clearly the best goalie to ever play, but he had/has so many character flaws, it's tough to separate the off-ice from the on-ice.

Just my opinion.

As a Sabres fan, though, I will watch the ceremony and try to enjoy the highlights they show.

I know a lot of people have mentioned this. But I will say I was in my early teens during his prime. I didn't care about all that crap and really never heard about it. I only cared about the hockey. To me he is and always will be a legend. That is all.

Sekera ended up making the Sabres full time before Weber though, and for some reason Lindy rarely played them together when they were both here.
That always drove me nuts BC of how good they were together in Rochester & during that stretch u are referring to
