I'd do it as well, but a few hundred thousand is almost nothing measured against the cap. You're thinking in middle class dollars. - wolfhounds

Didn't ask that, but sure
I have a lengthy history, so I'm a lot more susceptible to them. But in talking to my neurologist, whiplash injuries are a commonplace cause for concussions.Neck injuries can also mimick concussion symptoms |

My doctor said he wasn't surprised to find out Crosby's injury was neck related. But also said its real easy to miss when it is an issue that is in the neck. |

im sure its real easy to miss, but come on. these arent your average aria health quick stop physicians.
youre a team physician handling assets that are worth millions of dollars. no stone (or vertebrae) should be left unattended. every possible angle examined, even the ones that are borderline plausible.
that would be like a legal issue that oh yeah its tricky. maybe your local intern who spends way too much time on hockey websites may miss it in his analysis, but id expect better from comcast's top corporate regs lawyer. |

I've had concussions from no head contact. - Jsaquella
This.
Again, no official word on the kid's status, but you can certainly get a concussion from any sort of hard contact.
Look for his head hitting the ice too. Can't remember if that happened, but sometimes, it doesn't take much. |

It is so weird right now because you know if this was one of our other GMs a deal would have been made. Hextall seems to be just waiting out this time and once the TDL comes try to get every last asset he can out of teams. It is frustrating but at least he is following his plan.
Somethings in my opinion I still hope the Flyers grab.
- Zack Kassian or player similar
I feel this team is just too soft on the boards. They have simmonds but after that nothing much else. I think Kassian if given the chance could be like Beleksy in Anaheim. He can play that gritty game but also has skill to play with skilled players and not be out of place.
- Zack Bogosian type
I don't think they can get a legit number 1 dman but maybe you can get someone like Bogosian. He has the tools but because of injuries has lived up to what he was billed as. Maybe you take a chance on him to anchor your top pair.
- Legit speed demon
Lastly i would love to get more speed. Somone like Ryan Garbut or Brian Gibbons type. They can absolutely fly. Their speed cause problems on the forecheck and also allows for them to help back check effectivly defensivly.
Just my thinking. |

I wanted Gibbons this summer. He's an ideal 4th liner. Speed, bit of skill, decent PK guy. He would have been cheap, too.

Flyers needed that game last night in the worst way.
Zepp kept them in there, particularly towards the end of the second period. |

So did I.
I know you might not be able to get all those things but just some things i notice the Flyers seem to lack. I think Kassian could be had as I beleive he has been healthy scratched and not being used much with the Canucks. I would really model the team after the ducks. They play a heavy nasty game with skill. I think Kassian could help with that. |

Hotlby did the same for the Caps, especially in the first 8 minutes of the 2nd period when the Flyers were carrying the play. Both goaltenders played very well.

Flyers are not going to make playoffs. I think that is written in stone 11 points out of Wild Card not to mention Toronto and Florida are also ahead of them.
They played a tight defensive game and it is too bad they could not reward Zepp with a win.

I'm sorry buddy, but its over. Call off the parade and lets prepare for next season. Not to be a downer but the sooner we accept it the better we can prepare for meaningful games in 2015-2016. |
