He would be an upgrade for Tampa and Dallas... maybe Long Island, too.
Long shot - he goes to back up his best bud Holtby in Washington. - Feanor
Islanders could be a fit for sure. |

Hard to argue with anything the Islanders have done right now. They've had a great season thus far. Having the cap space to swoop in and scoop up Boychuk and Leddy was huge. - PLindbergh31
I enjoyed watching them stick it to Captain Shoulder Pads last night.
Rags have been on quite the roll lately. |

They swept the West Coast road trip, and were 13-1 in their last 14 games. Even though the Islanders have had good success against them this year, I think the Rangers will beat them if they meet in the playoffs. |

It would be a great series.
Both teams have a lot of speed and good defense, Rangers have the edge in goal.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Isles beat them in 7 games though.

Id like to see Lavi take the Preds to the finals and win a cup.
That would be a hoot.
Even more fun then Carter and Richards winning two with LA. |

You just know Edwards made a B-line to the officials' dressing room to address this atrocity. He was fuming.
Apparently, he was the only one in attendance who saw it.

That wouldn't surprise me. Still think they need another scorer. Not surprised in the least that Lavy has the Preds at the top of the League. |

I actually like this starting 6 dmen then with Grossman and Coburn in there......although I do have to admit that Grossman has had a good year compared to some of those other! |

So, then they'll trade for Lecavalier.
And THEN, they'll win the Cup.

Yeah this is crazy. I can see this happening against the Flyers.
Usually on a play like that though (where the puck hits the netting) players will raise their arms indicating the puck was out or hit the netting. |

The only guys I want back on this blue-line next year are Schultz, Streit, and Schenn. Everyone else can beat it. I know AndyMac is obviously included next year, but they could re-do this whole blue-line and I wouldn't really miss anybody.
?-Streit
?-Schultz
AndyMac-Schenn
-Manning, Ghost/Morin
We need a two top 4 guys either through trades or FA the way I see it. Don't want one of them to be Coburn, too expensive. Not against MDZ back on a cheap 2 year deal. If we pay MDZ a penny over 2 million per on a 2 year deal I'll lose my poop. |

If the Flyers could acquire a #1, Coburn would be fine as a partner. I think DelZotto's Q offer is around 1.75M, and he has zero leverage. |
