Idk, its not like Murray was gonna come out & say they'd have taken Ekblad
I'm sure he was happy with Reinhart either way though - jdfitz77

Goes to show you what TM was asking for. If the Wild settled for Dubnyk for a 3rd either goalies would have gotten at least a 2nd... - Stripes77
Have you seen Dubynk's stats compared to Smith's?
They are night and day. |

"After originally being placed on waivers and then backing up Tom Draper and Grant Fuhr"
http://www.ourhometown.ca/hockey/BUF0136.php
- homiedclown
After originally?
Hasek started the 1st game of the season in net.
Draper didn't start a game til November
Fuhr wasn't here til February.
No mention of Darren Puppa who alternated starts for the most part with Dom to start the season.
Gerry Meehan said in August of 92 that they tried to trade for Hasek in February or March(of 92).
Hasek may or may not have been waived(as I searched for 2 fvcking hrs and found zilch on him being waived) but
Those are the facts........
He needs a fact checker in the worst way cause that's bush league. |

Oh btw, I can not wait for Rex Ryan to eat TBN guys alive during press conferences.
These two bit hacks are in for a rude awakening as they don't have the smarts to deal with him.
As a non football fan I hope Rex gets the full 5 yrs plus to hand them their asses.
Welcome to the big leagues rookies, you're about to be schooled. |

im 100% sure EJ the bust will be gone and the Bills make a huge Splash for a QB
do anyone think we get rex ryan ? not me - gerbe75pts
There is no 'huge splash' QB to be had. Have you seen the list of FAs? It's a who's who of who cares. |

Rex Ryan is one 5-11 season away from being universally reviled in Buffalo. |

If they fix the Guard problem on the line they could get frigging Blaine Gabbert in here and the team would go 10-6 with this Defense. |

All this talk of Nolan being fired (which I don't really have an issue with either way) any thoughts on Peter Deboer (sp) ?
He seemed to do well in first years with FLA and NJ.. |

Why would we do that? Things are going very, very well right now. Leave them down there all year. |

Question, is it possible Chicago put Hasek on waivers at all? I dont recall RJ ever specifically saying the Sabres were the ones who did it?

RJ did right at the end of the second period, Sabres had him on waivers
I heard it when I snuck out for a smoke at work
Spent an hour that night looking for it on the internet as I was puzzled, still am |

I prefer Guy Boucher but would not have a problem with Deboer |
