I'm sure he'll still take his lumps...But still nice to see him progressing a little more quickly. Looked very confident tonight.

I think so too. Although, if Fletcher is unable to make a trade for a bottom pairing d-man, I wonder if he plays his way onto this team for the rest of the season. Sorry, but Prosser, Falk, and Bickel do not deserve to play every night.
Like you said, Dumba should be in Iowa playing top pairing every night. Hopefully another trade occurs soon

Ha! As I alluded to, this is almost like deja vu. Last seasons down peak and Yeos hot seat turned up and cooled down with a mid-season pre-All star break win against Buffalo.

Wild weren't quite as far out of the playoff hunt as they are this season, but crazier things have happened.

They basically need to make up 2 points on the wild card spot every 10 games from here on out. It's daunting, especially if a lot of Western Conference games end up being 3 pointers. I'd say they need to average 14 out of 20 points in each of those 10 game blocks to have a realistic chance. Based on their recent play I just don't see it.
