Voracek and Giroux both still had less 5v5 ice time than Rinaldo.

Actually, every forward not named Bellemare, Lecavalier or VadeVelde had more ES ice time than Giroux and Voracek

Game was over at 4-0. May as well play the scrubs after that.

And Rino served 12 minutes in the box or who knows how much more time he would have been rewarded with.

I just got home from dinner. What's the synopsis so far - 10 words or less.

Hockey players, including two of our own beloved, are dumbasses.

You need forwards though. By the time that core comes together and becomes Cup caliber, Giroux and Voracek will be in their 30s

They'll be like the Yzerman and Larionov of the bunch.

Disagree. Part of the problem is coaching. This team should be a bubble team, not a McDavid contender.
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

They're not a McDavid contender. I'd be shocked if we came close to getting McDavid.

Well that was disappointing.

I was hoping for a good ole fashion dust up. Two struggling teams fighting for a win. Guess not. Not much fight in those flyers.

you think?

Wonder what the odds are on teams coming back from a 4-0 deficit? I'm guessing it's low.

Any lotto team is a McDavid contender if you want to get all MJL about it.

Pronman is clueless. He has Hagg ranked over Morin.

Button is a much better scout.

We already knew that Button had big-time pre-draft crushes on Sanheim and Morin, but still... three players in the top-30 is pretty impressive.

There's some pretty highly drafed guys who didn't make the list at all: where art thou Jake Virtanen?
