Olive Garden gets awful jokes made about it because Olive Garden is awful.

There are plenty of independent places that serve far better food.

Maggiano's ftw! Reasonable prices for good food!

There's a few real Italian places I like, but they're also $40+ per plate..

I don't think it is odd. Might as well let him play and see if you can make him your back up next year. Seems like guys play hard in front of him and seems liked. Not saying Emery isn't. But he would be cheaper and any little savings helps.

Also it lets Stolarz handle most of the AHL so your helping his development too.

Agreed.

If I'm Chief, I'm re-shuffling the whole deck:

Raffl - G - Jake
Schenn - Coots - Simmer
Umby/Rinaldo - Bellemare - Read
Rinaldo/Umby - Vinny - VDV <-- Shelter

- Tomahawk

agreed. I've been wishing for a while that they'd put coots with Simmonds. Seems like chief just doesn't want to separate read and coots though.

i'd say going back to back nights isn't that common for a goalie but i agree that i would not be surprised if berube puts him back in

I would maybe go with this

Schenn - Giroux - Voracek
Raffl - Vinny - Simmonds
Read - Couturier - Umberger
Bellemare - White - Vandevelde/Rinaldo

Hmm.... I'd actually be really interested to see how that worked out. I'd switch lecavalier and schenn though

Yep. Ralph's. The Saloon. Davio's. They're all a little pricey because they are in the city.

Plenty of good places in South Jersey too. One of my favorites is in AC: Angelo's Fairmount Tavern.

Why not? Just 5 on 5. Keep G at center for PP and PK. I still think we are better 5 on 5 then we were last year, but the fact of the matter is were a sub-500 team. Whats the worst that could happen?

I've been calling for G and Jake to be split up 5 on 5 and Coots in the top 6 since August. Still waiting for them just to try it....

Possible. I'd play him a ton & try to trade Emery as soon as Mason returned.
- Jsaquella

Zepp is the human interest story of the year.

Martin Oulette stays up with the Phantoms never sniffs the ECHL again and could be a sleeper in development.
Neil Little is working with the ECHL and maybe the AHL goalies, not sure about some of the techniques hes teaching.
Better hope no other goalie injuries occurr or Stolarz/Oulette come up to the Flyers and Knapp/Joe Howe go to the Phantoms

If the Flyers finish with the 5th worst amount of points in the NHL, how does this draft lottery work? Are they assured of picking no worst than 5th, with a chance at moving up?

They would either pick 1st, 5th or 6th. If they won lottery they'd be first. If a team in front of them won lottery they'd stay at 5 & if a team behind them won, they drop to 6th

Thanks. I think they will finish 5th worst. I can't see Buffalo, Carolina, Edmonton, or Arizona overtaking them. But I see Ottawa, NJ, Columbus, Colorado, and Minnesota edging them out.

Yes, it's literally all over the place. Unfortunately for every good one there's a bad one.

Really great Italian food can be expensive around here for sure. Dinner for four at my favourite place comes in around 175-225. Needless to say it's a once or twice a year thing.
