Carrick has looked good in his limited ice time ... lots of energy, gritty, Tucker-esque?

Never understood that... you'd think being Canadian and all he'd ramp that poop up come the dance.

(frank)ed up really.

He just doesn't have that 'second gear' needed in the post season...

Yes, and all that playoffs success also...

Frank.... what the hell do you think I was referring too? We all know Joe puts up points in the season. Then No Show Joe appears...

- Hockey_Reverend

A mere 100 career playoff points is all Joe Has.. It "may" be more than the Entire Maple leaf roster put together, but agreed.. Jumbo Joe would surely flop in Toronto, with his disappointing playoff production

When people crash your net like that someone needs to grab them and knock the snot out of them.... Or else the poop keeps happening

Oh you are right... lets give him a medal... all those points must be the reason they took the C off him at the start of the year??? Imagine if that happened in Toronto? The poop would hit the fan bro... in San José it probably didn't make the paper

Totally Agree.. and i mean to take the C off of Dion Phaneuf would be ludicrous, the man ouses of Leadership.. He's been a winner everywhere he goes...

Someone useless like Clarkson should toss the puck at niemi and then go in cleats first.

Do you think having some cotton in the shape of a C means that much? I think the leaders are the leaders no matter what they wear.

(frank) man. Great question. If It wasn't 1 in the morning I'd think longer, but I'm going with Kessel, just.

Listen, are you 12? The point is that if Joe was a Leaf it would not be all roses... We would be no farther ahead... and our #1 damn would be who? Franson?

that C is all phanuef has. He'll never win a cup. Being a captain of an original 6 team is all he will have to say once his career is over. I guarantee it means a lot to him

No but generally you give it to ur best leader, and that is clearly Dion Phaneuf. I mean look at his mustache that has to gain the respect of the locker room instantly
