I think that's where you are going wrong. Honestly, I'm not being funny. I don't think Bozak, Kessel, Lupul, Gardiner and Dion really care. And most of them are core players. Our secondary players do, but the core players don't. Lupul for example, loves the lifestyle, loves the money, the shopping, the women, the dining. Compare him to Dustin Brown (who's not actually that great and hockey) and they are miles apart. Not just Lupul.

I honestly can't imagine the "core" of other teams living it up and not giving a (frank) as much as the Leafs group of players. Can you imagine Andrew Ladd for example trying to live it up? No one would know who he was?

Edit: If they truly, truly cared about winning, they would play defense as well as offense. The majority of the Leafs forwards (the one's that can make a difference) have no interest playing defense. And surely to (frank), this isn't news to them. They've been playing hockey their whole lives. They KNOW you have to put as much effort in without the puck to be successful.

Yet, they just don't do it.
