because the cap isnt based off the canadian dollar.. its based on the US dollar

also.. ticket prices havent dropped.. so revenue is still the same for the NHL

NHLPA makes you get paid what your worth, Id argue if I was a player that the cap is gonna go up a few times over the length of my contract, maybe not next year, its a 6 year deal
