Holtby has been great for me so far this week. Reasonable price, and he's a work horse. It's a 4 game week for them, and I wouldn't doubt if he starts all 4.

Sabres have not held a lead yet in 2015.

no, and even if it were, it's a risk worth taking. I think the guys they have in the lineup (the young ones) are mentally tough enough to get through and the others are elsewhere anyways.

Jeremy is probably the most pro McEichel out of all of them, so I would assume on this board, everyone loves that opinion, but overall, this is a year to either love his opinions or absolutely loathe him. Again, they're terrible. They will finish where they finish. They will get a star at 3 or 4 too. Rooting against your team is plain absurd.

I for one am conflicted in the fact that I simply can't root "against" the Sabres, so I will cheer when they win and be happy when they lose. I accept the losing. Most if not all of us do. But if they win a 4-2 game, I don't mind it because I know it's more or less a rarity, so there's nothing to worry about.

I've been saying this since the beginning of the season. However, last night's game was absolutely brutal. I actually left the game with more than 10 minutes left in the 3rd. I'd seen enough and it was a waste of my time to sit there longer.

I agree with this... there are far too many holes on this team. Finishing dead last 2 yrs in a row could happen and then the team will finally see some promise. Our goalie situation needs to be addressed before they climb back into the playoffs.

Well said, and exactly how I feel.

However, no team should continously get beat 5-1, 5-2, 6-1, 7-0, etc. I know we've had some close games this year, but this team is just as embarrassing as the one from last year.

Of course, it's much more enjoyable when the games are at least competitive...
But as frustrating as it is, I'm just keeping my eye on the prize for one of those top2 picks
I think in a few years we'll all be looking back at these past two years or so & say it was all worth it
