It's hard when they haven't really been given a chance to excel.

Just my opinion. Playing a guy like Grigorenko with 3rd-4th liners doesn't help. Yes, Armia did get that one game on the top line, but I didn't get to see it. It was only one game though.

Where did Girgs go ? Zads ? Poof nothing . We have all these so called top prospects. I know some are still too young to be on the team. But some of these guys were drafted 4-6 years ago. We have a poop ton of first rounders on the team and nothing to back it.

Some of you guys expect to much during a very obvious tank job. Next year even with a top 3 pick we could still be in the basement. But none of these picks are really playing yet besides girgs, zads, and risto.

I without a doubt think we will be a very very good team in at minimum 3 years. And I believe this will be the last year we will watch such a talentless squad.

only way i dont see us being a basement team again is if after we get the top pick we trade some others picks or prospects for already established top 6 guys. I know its not likely to happen but it could with all the picks and prospects we have.
