i think it cost a top prospects and a first in 2016 ..
but if you trade myers you might get him with 2 first - gerbe75pts
I'd trade future picks too if it meant getting Marner. Plus, if things go as they should the picks we'd give up wouldn't be so high. |

that's the 1 reason why i would Offer sheet tarasenko we would be giving up a late pick ..
Players like tarasenko don't grow on tress
you get your franchise center , wing your off ..
got a Corey Perry, ryan getzlaf thing going
if they match then draft tyler benson next year |

It all depends on how many 1sts. It's based on how much he signs for, correct ? |

Do people realize Nolan didnt have to take the job???? Anyone with half a brain could see that the sabres were going to tank and rebuild.. I don't feel bad for Nolan. Secondly he is making millions to lose and he would have never even been given another chance to coach at the NHL level if it wasnt for Patty.
Nolan had the choice to leave last season after the last place finish. He didn't. Money > Everything. That is all. |

So if they draft mcEichel would anyone else entertain the thought of packaging the other 2 1sts, a 2nd + to move up and try for Marner ? - Pairo11
Unless someone is will to take prospects of ours that Murray might not be too high on, then I think it would cost too much to get back into the top5 |

6.7M -8.4M is the 2 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd.
8.4M + is 4 1sts.
Safe to say he'd fall into the 1st category.
I'd do it. |

If we get McDavid or Eichel..
I want Konecny, Roy with them ( i will do anything to get these 2 i was all about Zemgus Girgensons in 2012 these two are going to make GMs go how the (frank) did i miss on them ..
Jeremy Roy will be the Erik Karlsson of this draft and konecny will be the corey Perry of this draft - gerbe75pts
Hopefully StL & NYi will lose 1st round & we won't have to move up too far |

I know they did ion, but not to the degree Murray is doing it this season, it's shameful and disgraceful the players that take that ice every night and wear a Sabres sweater.
Just disgraceful!
Murray is the beneficiary of what Darcy left for him, nothing more nothing less.
The guy has done nothing in the NHL that merits my respect, NOTHING ! - BuffaloHardHat
Murray is the beneficiary of what darcy left for him? All indications are there is going to be scorched earth down at fnc starting around the trade deadline. He wants to build completely different from darcy. We are suffering through an awful season to get first line nhl talent, but thats only part of it. The bottom three lines are probably gonna be made over too. Could take some time- dont care as long as its done right. I think he was hoping for some indication that there was a something hiding here that might be worth keeping, but beyond flynn and deslauriers, it doesnt look like much.

Roy will prob go top10 though, so it might be tough to move up that far
I've seen lone my drop into the early 20s on some mocks though, so he seems like a decent possibility |
