Guys like Berglund, Ott, even Oshie would prob get moved to keep Taresenko
Good thought, it's just tough to see them not keeping him around |

And u are free to continue to avoid the direct questions I posed to u
If you're just going to come here to female dog, and not actually converse, then I won't bother with u anymore - jdfitz77
Fair enough fitz, it is certainly your prerogative.
I was not aware I had avoided any questions.
To be fair I have been conversing. |

That Canadian dollar keeps sliding and they might not have that. Said this was coming a year ago . Believe me I am dealing with it with my Canadian customers.

Him and Girgensons on same line may not produce goals but a lot of bodies on the ice! This kid must be developing a rep for his fisticuffs already.

Darcy is more of a quantity not quality guy and obviously likes hodgson. Think we could trade our two late 1st rounders and hodgson for their 1st? |

When your response ignores direct questions asked (repeatedly btw) and u just repeat what you've already said, I don't consoder that conversing
If u want to address that...
1) Nolan knew what he was getting into
2) Murray did make offseason moves, many of which were surprising
3) what possible moves could've/should've been made
4) do u really think the roster of the worst team can be overhauled to become competitive in ONE OFFSEASON?
And I'll add...
5) trades can't happen on their own. U talk about wanting proof for things... Where's your proof Murray isn't working the phone TRYING TO MAKE A DEAL?

I remember some ppl saying that
I thought they were nuts
Enroth/Neuvirth just aren't gonna be consistently good enough with this group in front of them... Say what u will about Miller overall, but he was awesome for us last year... And we were still in last place... By a lot
We also didn't improve our scoring all that much for this season |

Do people realize Nolan didnt have to take the job???? Anyone with half a brain could see that the sabres were going to tank and rebuild.. I don't feel bad for Nolan. Secondly he is making millions to lose and he would have never even been given another chance to coach at the NHL level if it wasnt for Patty.
Nolan had the choice to leave last season after the last place finish. He didn't. Money > Everything. That is all. - Smittyx36
I realize that Nolan did not have to take the job smitty.
It was an opportunity to coach in the NHL once again.
Once again to coach a team that he made his mark with in the NHL world.
There are only 30 openings in the world to coach an NHL hockey team.
I am sure Nolan knew what he was getting into and so did Patty and I firmly believe that is why Patty left.
But Ted , a coach whom always gets the most out of every single player on his roster(and has proven that everywhere he has been) figured, well I can probably get this to team to be at least entertaining and not the absolute tire fire it is at the moment because Murray refuses to give him any help.
Players like Hodgson, Meszaros , Stafford should not even be on this roster but Ted is forced to keep them playing for the sake of Murray's goal which is just not fair to Nolan.
Smitty, even if you knew there were going to be many obstacles in your way of icing a NHL roster and were merely given discarded table scraps , I ask you, would you still want 1 of 30 NHL coaching jobs?
I am sure Teddy never imagined he would be forced to keep icing the likes of Hodgson and others I mentioned which is simply disgraceful on Murray's part. |

I addressed your number 1 in the post I just posted to smitty.
The offseason moves for has beens ? C'mon fitz.
There were other moves to be made I am quite sure of it but he had this tunnel vision of tanking for McEichel which I firmly believe is why Patty left.
Patty did not agree with this path.
No, not one offseason, but even IN SEASON, Murray has done nothing to aid his coach, nothing at all. Just handicapped Teddy more to be fair because now you have washed up vets that just want out of the losing and are tainting the youngins.
None of what Murray is doing is working.
None of it. |

who gives a poop do you think pittsburgh fans , King fans , Blackhawks fans are crying over the stanley cups they won ..

So poor Teflon Teddy is always getting the shaft. Nobody likes him and everybody's out to get him. It's an NHL-wide conspiracy to shaft him with sub-par rosters so that he never succeeds. This tank job isn't about landing a franchise player to eventually get this team a championship. It's about making sure the league's kryptonite doesn't ever sniff winning. Got it! |

To answer your question, obviously I care and I am sure many others echo my sediment.
I prefer things to be attained in life by hard work, it's called pride.
Some have it, some don't.
And I know some here will say "well, they are working hard at being bad", this I know too.

And you know this is fact?
The only way I would agree with your opinion is the fact that Murray leaves Nolan out there floundering with a roster full of defecation.
