And you know this is fact?

The only way I would agree with your opinion is the fact that Murray leaves Nolan out there floundering with a roster full of defecation.

- BuffaloHardHat

if he's such a great coach why was he out of the NHL so long ?

in my opinion his style is not made for this NHL now

All I can say is wow. Ted is getting a big fat paycheck . Life could be worse . This team was set up to fail . Ted knew it . He will keep his job another year. And then Terry will give him a big fat golden parachute . Teddy is not going to be fired for a while for all those campaigning for that . And Tim Murray is doing his job well - setting up this team for long term success and not heroic runs to ninth or at best 1 series and out of the playoffs.

People are forgetting this wasn't just Murray/Regier 's idea to tank, it was Pegula's.

This will be an awesome offseason. They will make a move or two for established NHL players, sign some FA. All they have been waiting for is a top 2 pick this year

better days are coming

Have to wonder if they save that for 2016, there are still some growing pains to go through and the FA/trade market may not bear what they need to make that jump.

Nobody would bite though. A lot of upside in the players expected to go top 5 this year, the offer would have to be a lot higher than just Zadorov and a 1st.

If we were drafting top 2 would you move Reinhart in a deal for #3 or #4? (Probably have to add to it as well)

His former players seem to disagree with you.

Even one of the best (Patty Lafontaine) to ever play game certainly disagrees with you, after all he did hire him this time around.

But it's your opinion, and that's fine.

To answer your question, obviously I care and I am sure many others echo my sediment.

I prefer things to be attained in life by hard work, it's called pride.

Some have it, some don't.

And I know some here will say "well, they are working hard at being bad", this I know too.

Ba dum tiiish.

And I am telling you that Pat Lafontaine (one of the best players to ever play the game) just hired Nolan to coach his hockey team at the time, in "today's NHL".

It appears you simply just want to keep avoiding that fact.

I'll believe that Lafontaine knows just a little bit more about "todays NHL" than you.

Well you are the winner for the biggest waste of Internet ink! Just trying to stir the pot HardHat? And we will trade Myers as soon as we get a massive return for him , so says our GM that you hate so much . I still have faith in his assessment of talent over yours . Don't worry we won't trade Weber. No one will take him unless they are in full tank mode and need to get their goals against up.

He was hired mid season. To a rebuilding team with 30th place aspirations.

There weren't many other options. LaFontaine also took his ball and went home after what 2 months? Not to mention he's becoming known for walking out on jobs with NHL organizations.

This is why I didn't like the hires from day 1. People would be attached to the local folk heroes and lose sight of the actual goal......which is Connor McDavid
