or he could value a college education
- hubie

Players that are serious about getting an education take the money and get the college credits during the summer. Never say no to money....it will pay for the college if the pro career doesn't work out.
In Eichels case, that's highly unlikely.

See, the real problem here is we are the 3rd best shootout team in hockey. Without that we wouldn't be having any of these discussions.

Now you just need an avatar of Marshawn with his 1800s bank robber attire on.

I thought I read somewhere that he said he wasn't necessarily going to leave college after this year.

Dude , time and time again you provide us with excellent material

It's too easy to make fun of barf , let him get his five comments. Making negative comments on his page only encourages him to write more trash.

Where do i fall on the re-build and current state of the team?

Part of me says he should have known there was an issue when he couldn't even pay the original manager what was owed. But, he was still pretty much just a kid and who knows what kind of line he parents gave him then.

It's really a sad situation. It's hard for me to fathom having a parent treat me that way. I have no complaints about mine. Did they make their fair share of mistakes as I was growing up? Sure. But they both would do anything for me. Reading things like the story about Johnson reminds me how incredibly lucky I am.

I turned it on and then went in to the other room until I heard RJ start to call the came. It just didnt interest me that much.
90 minutes to retire Selane's sweater is kind of ridiculous. I definitely wouldnt go to an arena that early to sit through that.

The Buffalo Sabres have been embarrassingly incompetent at the production level for almost a decade, both on television and in its arena productions. This shouldn't surprise anybody.

Even Stafford thinks people shouldn't show up to games!

+1
Even with the who are you video. Its the same players everytime, telling me you cant have more than a few players. I mean do starters or have some random selection. It was cool once but now not so much now

The ironic part is that we've been saying the same thing about Drew Stafford for about 6 years.

I think this is more of an awareness thing at the ownership/top tier management thing than it is a production thing. Production has been much improved since Pegula bought the team but Kiss 98.5 is still in charge of the music and other aspects so that is what holds them back. But it reminds me of when they got slammed for not acknowledging Pomminville is his return. They basically forgot he was a draft pick who worked his way up to captain. They just have no sense of etiquette.

The production has been marginally better, but not by much. You go to places even such as Nashville, and you feel like you're part of a big event. You go to First Niagara Center, and you feel like you're looking over somebody creating a video in Windows Movie Maker with effects taken from Microsoft Paint.

So Eklund doesn't get many (if anybody) to remove ad-block, so he makes the pop-up show up more frequently. Brilliant! But it's not going to work.

They should also lean on WGR to improve their product as the "official voice of the Buffalo Sabres" as well.
When ever i just listen to a game, their microphones blow out, commercials start rolling in the middle of interviews, there's dead air, they lose Paul Hamilton in the locker room every. single. game. In the post game interviews, etc.
