Stolarz is getting about 150G's more than Zepp. Don't you think he would want a bit of a raise.

If the Flyers came to him today with a one way deal for the same cash he's making as a NHLer I bet he'd jump at it.

Not if they sign him to a one-way deal.

Geez. I want to say Hexy is at least 5 years older than Snow, and Garth looks like his Father.

Truthfully, I don't think he's nearly as bad a GM as his rep -- those boys draft fairly well, make good waiver claims

He's not perfect, but when you've been a bottom-feeder, you do have to take risks, like it was pointed out with Thomas Vanek, to try to move the team forward

Looks like they'll make the playoffs for the second time in three years this season. He's not perfect, but they look like they'll have some staying power, and for better or worse, Snow's fingerprints are all over it, since he's been there for all of it

He's been through bad and good, you have to wonder how much of his early time was spent with Wang meddling.

One thing they do, whether through internal budget or whatever, that I respect is that they set a number that they'll pay you and will move you if you don't sign.

I don't think they're necessarily cheap, either -- they pay guys, bring guys in with term or who they have to re-sign or try to, like Visnovsky and Vanek.

But I do admire them for saying, "We value you at this, and we're not going higher. If you get it elsewhere, fine, but you won't get it here."

Because sometimes, you just have to let players walk, or move them.

True. I agree with the premise, there's times you need draw the line on salaries.
