Anyone know the details with Brodeur?
Thought he was signed with the Blues, now he is on a leave of absence?
How does that impact roster spots and salary cap? Is he still getting paid by the Blues? Never noticed him being waived.
Was LA afforded the same option? Am I too quick to say different rules for different players? Or is it just a different situation? Was Brodeur on a pto contract or something? (salary is a lot less anyway)

He is still on the roster and still part of our cap. When he comes back they are going to make a decision on what to do with him. Most people think they offered him a front office gig and he is deciding if he wants to retire and take it or play out the season. |
