I see a defenseman that is strong in coverage, and is calm under pressure with the puck. He handles the puck a lot and only has 9 giveaways charged to him this seasons. Berube scratched him one game earlier in the season because he wanted him to be more aggressive like I talked about offensively. The other game he was scratched, wasn't about performance.
http://www.csnphilly.com/...g-wasnt-about-performance - MJL
Then Berube is an idiot....if he benched a guy for playing the way you said he is....why would a 5 million dollar player be a healthy scratch???? Like most Flyer articles in Philly that one was laughable. |

and maybe it's time for G to take a walk. - OrangeAndBlack1
It's been awhile since someone made one of these statements here.
Every time I read them it's still just as laughable as the first time I read it..
1. leading point producer in the league over the past 5 seasons, check!
2. Proven playoff performer, check!
3. MVP finalist, check.
4. Top 4 in scoring right now, check.
5. Entering his prime, check.
Time to take a walk! |

A fan just scored 4 times from 4 spots on the ice and won the entire crowd a free slice of pizza... The Leafs need to sign this guy NOW |

They look like it, too -- just look really, really bad
Nobody goes to the net, they don't engage in puck battles...man. With what I'm looking at, it's gonna be hard for the Flyers to not pass them, too.

You think this team + Weber, minus Schenn, Coots, and 2 high picks, would be in better shape then they are now?
....eh.. - Giroux_Is_God
Its fun to think about. They'd have G and Jake up front, Weber holding down the blue line and Mase in net. Obviously they wouldn't have been able to draft Morin or Laughton. From there who knows if they would've still moved for Streit. They almost certainly wouldn't have gotten Vinny or AMac. They would certainly be all in now if that were the case. Which means losing Kimmo would have been incredibly crushing.

They took a beating on Sunday, at home, but they probably should've scored more than two -- were just a little off, let the Rags get in their heads
They score first and early tomorrow...yeah, it could be Katy Bar the Door |

Long term, it would probably have looked a bit like the Lindros trade. Basically just hand the Cup to Nashville with all the players/picks they would have gotten out of it. |

I don't think the Penguins are any good, they should be able to exploit the Flyers tomorrow night. Draft day is going to be exciting |
