curious why you think that, is it because the return is better?

I have a hard time seeing them trade Streit unless it is in 2016.
Coburn I could see going to a contender at the TDL if the return is really good. Otherwise 2016 for him too if they aren't going to re sign him.
Grossmann, not sure. If the most they could get is a late rounder like a 5th or something, then why do it?

Teams are looking for UFA's as rentals, rather then players with term still left on their deals. Hextall even said the other day that he doesn't expect a lot of moves at the deadline because they don't have the UFA's. Players with term are more likely to be moved once teams evaluate their long term needs, and have a clear idea of the cap picture moving forward.

Methot is a UFA, Ceci is probably too expensive & Gryba isn't much more than a more steady Luke Schenn

the first 10 games of the year I was ripping Martin because he keep chasing hits way behind the play, since then, he's been forechecking well and not getting caught up ice doing that, and with cizikas and clutterbuck I am loving that line.

Zero interest. Too big a cap hit for a guy who is still way too inconsistent. I'd like Methot if they can re-sign him at an acceptable rate, and I'd love Ceci.

I keep coming back to Wiercioch. Big, has put up decent numbers in the past, could definitely be more physical, but can be a solid guy and he's fairly cheap and a RFA at end of deal

I'm not sure any Ottawa defenseman that might be available is worth Schenn. They aren't trading Karlsson.

Since the Flyers cap issues have been overblown, I expect them to just go on a UFA shopping spree come season end. Just pluck the top available guys. Problems solved.

Outside of maybe Ceci, there's not one I'd be happy to trade Brayden Schenn for.
